Abstract
We consider the impact on delay time of an inspection scheme for quality control. We also analyze a class of queueing models obtained from the examination of the post-inspection phase of the process. These are queueing models with arrival streams modulated by the inspection station and are treated via matrix geometric or Markov embedded methods.
